      报告人简介：陈小丹，博士(后)，广西大学数学与信息科学学院副教授，硕士研究生导师，中国运筹学会图论组合分会青年理事（第四届），中国工业与应用数学学会图论组合及应用专业委员会委员（第一届），入选“广西高等学校千名中青年骨干教师培育计划”。2012年6月于厦门大学获理学博士学位，2012年8月入职广西大学，2013年10月--2016年11月于湖南师范大学从事博士后研究，2020年10月--2021年7月于清华大学做访问学者。研究方向为代数图论及其应用，主要从事图的谱理论及其在理论化学和复杂网络中的应用等方面的研究。至今在《Discrete Math.》、《Discrete Appl. Math.》、《Linear Algebra Appl.》、《Linear Multilinear Algebra》、《Graphs Combin.》等国内外权威学术刊物上发表SCI论文40余篇；主持国家自然科学基金2项、中国博士后科学基金1项和广西自然科学基金2项。

    报告摘要：Let G be a undirect simple graph with n vertices and m edges. In 2008, Brouwer conjectured that the sum of the first t (1 <= t <= n) largest Laplacian eigenvalues of G is at most m+（t+1/2）, which is still wide open. In this talk, I shall report some recent progress on this conjecture.
